![]() Here’s how to stop the sign-in with google pop-up once and for all. It’s easy to turn off sign-in with Google/login with Google, but what’s a little unexpected is you don’t need to disable a setting in your browser. It seems Google wants you to login to more and more sites, probably in an attempt to collect more data about you. The persistence of the login with Google notifications can be frustrating. Sites that sign in with Google and prompt with a pop-up style notification window include Best Buy, Medium, eBay, and more than I could list. It’s also annoying because random sites with registration that you may never want to register or log in to can attempt to log you in with this Google Sign In notification. This can be immensely frustrating, particularly when you already have a login for the site, and now Google is trying to hijack everything and login yourself. This is called Google Sign In One Tap and looks like what is pictured below. If you use a Chrome-based browser, Google Chrome, Edge Chromium, Brave, or others, you may experience an annoying pop-up Google Sign In Pop Up window asking if you want to log in with your Google account. If you find this helpful and want to say thanks, please buy me a coffee or take a look at my book on Amazon. Important: I am not affiliated with any of the manufacturers, brands, services, or websites listed on this page and this is my personal experience. ![]()
